Mr. Lokumbe,
It was suggested that I contact you because of your deep commitment to your community via your musical vision. My name is Christy Claxton. I am the founder of the Peace from the Porch Project, and I in La Grange. Along with producing CDs and concerts that bring musicians and community activists together to reduce the suffering “next door,” I also publish a web zine called Stave Magazine. I focus on independent musicians of all genres who are actively creating what I call “peace on the homefront” through activism, education, and community support. If you would be interested in visiting with me (either via an email interview or in person), I’d be honored to feature you in the next issue of Stave Magazine. You can learn more about the Peace from the Porch Project at http://www.christyclaxton.com. I love really like that you honor the process of the music that comes through you by not trying to explain it, but rather be what it calls you to be. I look forward to your reply.
